Taj started taking his first steps in January and by the middle of February he was off and walking everywhere. Now I have very little chance of getting him in his stroller, especially since he got a pair of shoes, as soon as they go on he is fascinated by them and knows its walking time!

We bought Taj his first wet suit and contrary to the photo he had a great time playing down the beach in it. However since that day Melbourne has turned on some beautiful weather, mostly over 30 and there has been no need for wetsuits.

We just got back from a little weekend get away to Phillip Island which was great. Neither of us had been there, we went and saw the penguins which Taj loved and spent our days at the beach.

Taj is gradually adding to his vocabulary, which is gorgeous. He has about 15 words at the moment, bubby and mummy are the most used. He constantly points to the picture on our wall of the Gold Coast and repeats beach, beach. And loves chasing Bailey around, but confuses bubby and Bailey.

He loves mowing the lawn with Brendan and cracks it if he tries to do it without him. He really just loves being outdoors, not sure how we are going to cope with this in winter. I am thinking raincoat and gumboots.

He is growing so quickly, I swear sometimes I put him to bed and he wakes centimeters taller!
